I received my undergraduate degree from Goucher College in Baltimore, Maryland.  In 2004 I earned my Masters Degree in Early Chidhood Education from Georgia State University.

This is my twenty second year of teaching.  I worked in Clayton County for the first seventeen years, teaching second grade and working as an Early Intervention Program teacher grades K-5.  The second grade team at JES is the BEST and I love being part of such a wonderful group of teachers!

Although I was born in Georgia, I grew up in a small town in Virginia.  After college I returned "home" and started my teaching career.  My husband and I have two young daughters.  Our oldest is in fifth grade and our youngest is in third grade.  We love going to the beach and playing games as a family.  If the Braves are playing, we're watching!
